Steroids Linked to Concussion in High School Athletes
Using data from the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System, researchers report that 55% of high school athletes with a history of steroid use have sustained a mild-traumatic brain injury, which is more than twice the rate of non-steroid teen athletes at 20%.
